Structural Design II
The courses Structural Design I and II explain the fundamentals of how structures function. These courses put great emphasis on studying the relationship between the form of a structure and the internal forces within it by means of graphic statics.

In the last lecture, you have learned about different options for horizontal bracing.
Today's exercise is about applying them.
The course of forces due to horizontal action is learned. First of all, the force distribution within the cover plate is examined. Walls are to be used as stiffening plates.
