Synchronizing two viewports in Rhino
By using the hidden/undocumented command ‘TestMooCow,’ you can synchronize two viewports in Rhino. It will link/unlink two viewports to pan/zoom/rotate in sync.
- testmoocow
- select primary view(port) : the viewport that you want the other viewport to sync to
- select secondary view(port) : the viewport that you want to sync
- By using the Rhino command SetObjectDisplayMode, or “Viewport Filter” option for Custom Preview component in Grasshopper, you can make objects appear in only the specified viewport.
- testmoocow : entering the command again will stop the synchronized view.
I would love to see an video example of how you use it!
