On October 10, Juney Lee successfully defended his PhD dissertation titled “Computational Design Framework for 3D Graphic Statics”. He also got recommended by my PhD committee (Prof. Block, Bill Baker of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) and Allan McRobie of University of Cambridge) to be nominated for the ETH Zurich Medal for outstanding doctoral theses.

Prof. Block will give one of the keynotes at Advances in Architectural Geometry - AAG 2018, organised at Chalmers University in Gothenborg, Sweden. Robin Oval will present his paper on Topology Finding of Structural Patterns. The BRG also offers a two-day workshop on Architectural Geometry and Structural Design with COMPAS.
