Our paper "On The Equilibrium of Funicular Polyhedral Frames and Convex Polyhedral Force Diagrams", describing our extension of graphic statics to fully spatial (3D) funicular systems of forces, has been published in Elsevier's Computer-Aided Design.

Prof. Denis Zastavni organizes a seminar on "design methods / graphic statics / parametric approaches", in honour of Bill Baker, structural partner at SOM, on February 6 at the UCL - Faculty of Architecture, Architectural engineering and Urbanism in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. Prof. Block will share the BLOCK Research Group's work in graphical design and analysis methods.

Congratulations to David López López and co-authors for being awarded "best case study in 2014" in the Elsevier journal "Case studies in Structural Engineering" for their paper describing MAP13's project Bricktopia, which was designed with our own RhinoVAULT!

Our project "Geometry-Based Structural Design", a collaboration between the Chairs of Architecture and Structure of Prof. Block and Structural Design of Prof. Joseph Schwartz to develop a unified approach to teach structural design and reform the structures curriculum at D-ARCH of ETH Zurich, has been approved and will be supported by an InnovEDUm grant!
