Vasilis is an architect and researcher with an interest in computational design, digital fabrication, robotics and materials applied in architecture. He holds an integrated Matster's Degree in Architecture from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece since 2019 and a Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture and Digital Fabrication from ETH, Zurich since 2022, where he conducted his thesis with title "Embedded in Earth - Integration Of Timber With Discrete Earthen Deposition Structures".
Vasilis has been working in studios around Europe like 3XN in Copenhagen where he contributed in the development and realization of two hotels, and Studio RAP in Rotterdam where he worked on the design and fabrication of 3D printed ceramic facade tiles. During his MAS studies in ETH he joined the chair of Prof. Ludger Hovedtstadt as a student assistant where he was part of Neuramod research project.
He joined Block Research Group as a Scientific Assistant in November 2022.
