Beril is an architect and researcher with a focus on parametric design, digital fabrication and robotics in the field of architecture. Beril received her master’s in architecture from Middle East Technical University in 2020 and Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture and Digital Fabrication from ETH Zürich in 2021 with the master thesis “Skin and Bone: Eggshell 3D Printed Formwork with Mesh Mould Reinforcement”. Beril has practiced as an architect in Turkey and worked as a scientific assistant for architectural design courses and digital fabrication projects at METU and ETH Zürich.
She joined the Block Research Group as a scientific research assistant in May 2022.
