Ariane Hoek is a civil engineering student at ETH Zürich with an interest in structural and material optimization.
In 2017, she completed the first year of architecture studies at ETH Zürich. To get a deeper understanding in structural analysis, she changed her studies to civil engineering. In summer 2020, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
While interning at WaltGalmarini in Zürich during fall 2020, she gained insight into the construction industry and obtained experience in structural calculations, especially in the field of reinforced concrete.
Ariane Hoek joins the BRG as a research intern in Spring 2021.
