Claudia Brunier-Ernst is a registered architect in Switzerland and the UK. She received her diploma in architecture from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany in 2006 and her postprofessional Master's degree from the Architectural Association (Design Research Laboratory), London in 2011. She also worked as a project architect at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill LLP and Grimshaw Architects in London and is co-founder of Brunier Ernst, a Zurich-based practice offering services in architecture, design and research. Her work has been published and presented at international conferences ACADIA in San Francisco, ENHSA EAAE in Crete and the Design Modelling Symposium in Berlin and was exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
Claudia joined the Block Research Group in 2012. Her focus is the development of eQUILIBRIUM, an interactive graphic statics based platform for the design and analysis of structures.
Claudia left the BRG in June 2017 to work as project architect for Hosoya Schaefer Architects.
