Alexander is a studying architect currently in his second year in the Masters of Architecture program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He completed his undergraduate degree in Architecture at McGill University in 2015. Alexander has extensive construction experience as a finish carpenter for 3 years, working primarily on custom wood millwork. He has also accumulated fabrication experience as a visiting researcher for Quarrastone ltd and in his studies at MIT. In these studies he has begun an ongoing original research project on the load cases of masonry vaults under construction and the temporary falseworks needed to support them.
Alexander is the recipient of a grant from MISTI (MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives) and joins the BRG as an intern for summer 2017.
